Special military tuition rate
If you are currently active duty, reserve, or national guard, you are exclusively entitled to a reduced tuition rate at 草莓视频. You will meet with a Financial Aid Coordinator to review your personalized financial plan. Additionally, your SCO or Military Liaison will be available for any questions about your VA educational benefits. Documentation is required during the admissions process.
Yellow Ribbon Program
The Yellow Ribbon Program can help you pay for higher out-of-state, private school, or graduate school tuition that the Post-9/11 GI Bill doesn鈥檛 cover. 草莓视频 will provide up to $15,000 in Yellow Ribbon funding, which is matched by the Department of Veteran Affairs, for any student eligible for 100% chapter 33 benefits if tuition and fees are over the annual cap for the year. No application is required to receive these benefits if you qualify.
College credit for military training
By using the system or the system, you can receive college credit for military training based on the degree program you鈥檙e enrolling in.

草莓视频 continues its tradition of serving the educational needs of soldiers by offering the opportunity to use Credentialing Assistance (CA) to take courses leading toward certification exams within high-demand areas.

Speak to your ESO to confirm eligibility and understand requirements to use CA.
Speak with an 草莓视频 Specialist at 草莓视频 to enroll in the university as a nondegree seeking student and register for your class.
Complete a CA request online at least 30 days prior to the course or exam start date:
account and acknowledge the Soldier Statement of Understanding (SOU).
Select the 鈥淢OS/ASI鈥 option if you wish to pursue a credential aligned with your MOS/AOC/ASI. Select the 鈥淥ther鈥 option if you wish to pursue a credential NOT aligned to your MOS/AOC/ASI.
Select the credential you wish to pursue and submit.
Once you have selected a credential, request CA funding.
Select a vendor from the list that appears for your credential.
Select the course/exam. Submit.
Complete the training. 草莓视频 will report the completion of the course to the Army.
Sign up for your exam to earn your certification.

Federal active duty military tuition assistance
Active Duty or National Guard students may qualify for federal tuition assistance (TA). Each respective branch of service has a deadline to apply for benefits each quarter.
First-quarter students who wish to use Federal Tuition Assistance must follow these steps to receive TA for that quarter:
Speak to an Educational Services Officer (ESO) or counselor within the Military Service prior to enrolling.
Submit an application to the university and be accepted.
Meet with a 草莓视频 financial aid staff member to discuss funding for their first academic year.
Apply for TA benefits for the registered classes.
Register for classes.
Apply for TA benefits for each individual class prior to the TA deadline.
Army and Air Force 鈥 Deadline 7 days prior to course start date.
Navy, Marine, and Coast Guard 鈥 Deadline 14 days prior to course start date.
Continuing students must follow these steps:
Prior to completing 8 credits, submit a copy of Degree Audit to their ESO.
Meet with student success coordinator to discuss and register for classes.
Apply for TA benefits for each individual class prior to the TA deadline.
Free Application for Federal Student Aid
All students are encouraged to complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at to apply for federal grants and other assistance. Your financial planning coordinator will meet with you to discuss your eligibility once your FAFSA is received.
The Department of Education opens the FAFSA application every year on October 1. Because some funding is limited, we recommend filing your FAFSA as soon as possible to maximize funding eligibility. You may need your last two tax returns when completing your FAFSA.
